- She'd had enough of this... (Photo- Reuters)
NAIROBI – An angry woman was yesterday arrested after storming into the Bomas of Kenya, where the official results of the just concluded voting exercise were being broadcast live to all of Kenyan TV, protesting the cancellation of yesternight's episode of her favourite soap opera.
The woman, identified only as wa-Caro said into one of the cameras before attacking the cameraman, "Nimevumiria reo yote, kira mahari ni Yesno yesno. Rakini kukataa kurete Di Amor! Unajua Emirio arikuwa amepedana na Paroma, sasa sitajua kurieda aje?! Nkt! Wewe Forithi usinichike!!"
GSU personel at the location were impressively fast in tackling her before she could destroy a fourth camera. She was hurriedly carried off from the scene while screaming, "...tokeni kwa tv! Si tunajua ni yes! Mutaona!!"
Police at the Bomas explained how she outsmarted them by using her leso to identify herself as the official IIEC Mama Mandazi. Reports reaching us indicate that the Kenyan Domestician Association, KDA, and the Mexican Minister in charge of the Mass Exportation of Soap Operas, Alejandro Emiliano Fabian De Los Montero De Jorge, have sent legal represention and called for continued calm as the Referendum fever cooled down, while Classic TV took the opportunity to further their 'Naija Knows Best' campaign.

The team at The Review, presently numbered at 4 and growing, publishers of The Daily Standard, could not possibly emphasize enough the sheer brilliance with which the late great Whispers thrilled us. However, we don't believe it would be in our right place to stake a claim to continuing that legacy.
Though it does need mentioning, that we are indeed humbled to be viewed in that light.
